Fit For You Health Club was founded in 1986 and was located in Elk Rapids, Michigan. The Health Club at that time was doing business in a 2,000 sq. ft. building with two aspiring young fitness professionals at the Helm.
Jeff and Vern Gauthier had a dream of helping each and every person that would accept their help at reaching their fitness goals. That dream became a burning desire and Fit For You Health Club grew.
The brothers moved their business to a larger facility in Traverse City with 2,500 sq. ft. of floor space to conduct and build their proprietary system called the Fit For You Body Transformation System.
Things went real well and Fit For You moved again to expand into 4,000 sq. ft. The equipment in the health club had also doubled.
Without the advantage of investors or family members, the two took that burning desire and put it all on the line to purchase the 11,000 sq. ft. building on Garfield in the middle of Traverse City where they are now located.
Within one year the Body Transformation System exploded and the Gauthier brothers added on to their building, bringing the square footage up to 15,000. Now with over 20 employees being housed in Traverse City with a 15,000 sq. ft. building the sky is the limit.
The burning desire grew and spread to the awesome team of trainers and counselors. Fit For You is the proprietary owner of the Fit For You Body Transformation System with well over 1,000 happy customers already living with their new lifestyle.
