The first week was the hardest. I felt intimidated by some people at the gym. So when I felt intimidated by someone, I would go over and ask them a question, or just start talking to them. It blew me away! Every person I talked to was eager to give me input on the question or exchange conversation in a friendly manner. After a steady two months of coming back to the gym, I realized the people I once found to intimidate me were motivating me and pushing me to become what I am now.
It feels so great to walk into Fit For You and walk by people and say hi on a first name basis with the majority of gym members. If it wasn’t for the friendly staff, especially the trainers who answered all my random questions, I would have stopped exercising a long time ago. I love the “family” feeling I get when I work out at Fit For You. It’s like If I ever need a spot or an idea for an exercise, people here are willing to lend a hand or offer ideas. I am glad to show people, and prove to myself that I mean business! All of this, plus the new friendships, are the keys to keep me in this new, positive frame of mind! Fit For You has helped me grow healthier and stronger both physically and mentally!!!
